Invade my wallet, that is. I just got this email announcement and I can’t tell you how excited I am. It’s Skylanders, but with Disney characters. Although it looks to be heavily skewed to Pixar, I’m sure Disney won’t miss the opportunity to empty my wallet with all kinds of other cute, classic characters in the future.
From the looks of it, the game itself might be similar in design to Toy Story 3 that released for all the console platforms about 2 years ago. After the story missions, you could spend your time in a sandbox world called the “Toy Box.” Easily one of the best games I’ve ever played with my children with a myriad of collectibles, unlockables, activities, and mini-games that kept us occupied for hours. I was impressed with the size, scope, and polish of TS3, and Infinity seems to be based on this – times ten, which is music to my ears.
